I got a call from some firm telling me I’d been in a car crash and asking if I wanted to make a compensation claim. I was baffled since I can’t remember any accident happening, and I told them that straight away. Next, they switched the story, saying it was about medical negligence tied to a recent operation I supposedly had. Again, I had to explain that no such thing had ever occurred. Then things got really odd - when I asked for specific dates to help track down this mystery double of mine, the call just cut off out of nowhere... very suspicious!
