Got a call earlier today on my home phone from 01248 785113. Some bloke with a strong foreign accent claimed he was ringing from Talk Talk about hackers trying to get into my internet password. I asked him if it was a local issue, and he said yes. Pushed him a bit by asking if he meant local to Coventry, and he agreed again. I told him straight up I wasn’t falling for any scam and hung up. (I’m nowhere near Coventry, by the way!) Tried *1471 afterwards, but a robotic voice told me ‘no routes found’.
