I got a robotic message saying my broadband would be cut off by midnight and I needed to press a button to keep it on. As soon as it ended, I called back but the line was dead. About an hour later, a withheld number rang me, claiming to be from an engineering firm linked to TalkTalk. I told the person I’d already called TalkTalk and their message said they’d never use automated calls like that, so it’s probably a scam. After I said that, the caller just hung up on me.
