I had a rather peculiar phone call from this number earlier today, claiming they were about to cut off my internet connection. Strangely enough, the voice on the other end was American. I didn’t stick around to hear more and simply hung up.

Utter scam! Received an automated call claiming to be from BT, threatening to cut off our broadband service. They wanted me to press 1 for more info, but I had already tuned them out by then! I've reported it to BT; it's clearly a dodgy operation.
