Got a call this morning on my landline, sounded pretty official but the voice was definitely robotic. They claimed my internet service was about to be cut off and told me to press ‘1’ to talk to a TalkTalk rep. I didn’t press anything, I had a feeling it was a trick. The call just ended after about a minute by itself. This definitely feels like one of those phishing scams trying to get money from call charges or by tricking you into talking more. Be careful and don’t press any buttons! I’ve already reported this number to the cops.
