Received a call at precisely 13:25 on my BT landline on the 21st of November, 2019. The caller had an American accent and purporting to be from Amazon Prime. They ominously stated that my bank would be charged £34 unless I pressed "1" to connect with customer service. Instead of engaging, I promptly returned the handset to the cradle-no buttons were pressed. I shall be blocking this number to prevent any further nuisance on my BT line.
