Got a call from 01248713517 saying they were TalkTalk and that my internet was about to be cut off. I was really hoping to mess about and waste their time for ages, but it hung up before I could get started. Whenever these scammers ring, I make it a point to keep them on the line for around half an hour so they aren’t out there ripping off other people. Feels good knowing I’m at least slowing them down a bit!

Got a call from an Asian guy claiming my life insurance was up for renewal. Told him I didn’t have one. He insisted he worked for the department of work and pensions and said he could see the policy. I repeated I didn’t. Then he asked if I needed critical illness cover. I said no thanks. He even asked if I had any family, which felt a bit intrusive. In the end, I just gave up, ended the call, and blocked the number.
