Had a similar call supposedly from BT. They tried to get me to log into TeamViewer with some code. I didn’t go along with it. When I asked if they liked their job, they said yeah. I then asked how long they’d been with BT, and they suddenly swore at me, proper rude. I joked that maybe they were just using BT tech jargon, but then they hung up. Definitely a dodgy phishing call in my opinion.

Somebody called saying they were from my internet company, BT, but it turned out to be a lie. They claimed there was an issue with my router since I’m apparently a BT customer, and asked if I was sat at my computer. I told them I suspected it was a scam, and they just ended the call. When I tried calling the number back, it was already disconnected.
