Got a call from some automated voice saying there was tax fraud on my account with HMRC. They told me to press 1 or else I'd get arrested. Seemed dodgy to me, so I’ve just blocked the number now. Don’t trust these sort of calls at all.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC. When I asked how I could be sure they were legit, she told me to look up the number on Google and ring back later. She even said, "We're not here to prove who we are." I said no way was I giving out any details and asked them to put it in writing instead. Luckily, I just found this number on here.

Somebody rang telling me they were from HMRC and said there was a warrant out for my arrest. I just ended the call straight away cos I’m aware this is a common scam.
