I received a rather dodgy call from someone claiming to represent the Sky Refund team. They had all my details-my full name, address, and postcode. It’s definitely a scam! I’ve never even been a Sky customer!

Yesterday, I got called twice from this number, plus loads of other spam as well. In total, there were about eight calls from scammers trying to con me.

It looked like spam, maybe? I ran out of credit so couldn’t ring back. Figured they might give me another buzz since I missed it, but nope, nothing so far. Guess I’ll wait and see if they try again.

Got two calls from this number claiming they were from Sky's refund team. The call I answered was with an Asian woman telling me I was owed £202 back. Thing is, I don't even have a Sky account! Then she just hung up on me. These sorts of calls really need to be cracked down on.

A caller claiming to be from Sky’s refund department got my address and postcode spot on but then tried to ask for my DOB. I just told them to email me and promptly blocked the number afterwards.

This number buzzed me two times today but both times I picked up they just went silent and hung up. Didn't leave any voicemail or anything, so thinking it might be some annoying spam caller. If they ring back, I'm just ignoring it for sure.

On 26th August 2021, we missed two calls from this number at about 2.30pm and again close to 5.30pm while we were out. When we got in around 8pm, I rang back and a guy picked up, saying it was all a scam. He mentioned he’d already informed B.T. about it and even said sorry for the trouble. For anyone else dealing with this, I’d suggest getting Caller Display and the B.T. Shield service. That way, callers have to identify themselves before you pick up, so you can decide whether to answer or not. Since doing this, it’s stopped nearly 15 unwanted calls daily!
