I've been getting loads of calls over the past few weeks from different numbers, all saying something like, "This is BT, we're cutting off your broadband today." A bunch of them come from 01248 3700 prefixes, but there are plenty of other ones too. Often, I get two calls within just 10 minutes. It’s really annoying. I reckon virtual phone number providers need to be shut down so these scammers can actually be tracked and the law can step in. Frankly, BT should just be able to cut off the service themselves to stop all this nonsense.

I received a call from this number earlier today, claiming to be from BT. They mentioned there was an issue with my internet connection. When I pointed out that I wasn't even a BT customer, the tone took a turn for the worse, and the caller became quite rude. I would advise steering clear of any calls from this number!
