Claimed to be from TPS but didn’t really explain what they wanted. She ended up chatting with them for around seven minutes, but there was no clear reason given for the call. Proper odd!

The last caller was a bloke called Peter, sounded Indian, saying he was from the TPS and was there to stop unwanted calls. He kept pushing me to give my address and age, which I wouldn’t do. Eventually he got really rude, started shouting and threatening that he’d expose my number to a swarm of nuisance calls if I didn’t share those details. I’m planning to report the number but honestly, since I started doing that, it seems like the calls have only gotten nastier and more threatening.

Got a call from a woman named Vanessa, sounded Asian, said she was with the TPS. She asked if I was still getting annoying calls (which I am). She apologised and promised that I'd never get another nuisance call ever again! She wanted me to verify my info, but she already had my name and address. Then she asked if I was under 70. I asked why that was important, and she got annoyed, didn’t get why I wouldn’t just say. I just hung up after that.

Got a call from a bloke with an asian accent, asking for an older relative of mine. When i answered, he got a bit confused and was like “Who’s this then? The gardener? The chef? Get her back on.” He even threatened to keep ringing if i hung up lol. Would definitely steer clear of that one.

i got a call from a woman with an asian accent saying she was calling from tps and needed to verify my personal info for a subscription renewal. i told her it sounded dodgy, so she started rattling off my name and address. i asked her how i was supposed to renew when she said there was no website. i told her i only renew stuff online, so if they don't have one i can't be with them. she just gave up after that.

It seems to be linked to the Telephone Preference Service, though I'm not entirely sold on that. If she was genuinely with BT, surely they’d already have all my info on record!
