Got a recorded call saying it’s from HMRC, claiming there’s a warrant for my arrest over some tax issues. They told me to press 1 to get the full scoop and sort out the warrant - yeah, right! This was the first time I’d had this kind of scam call, maybe the PPI scammers are switching tactics since the deadline’s nearly up. I’ve read others have had similar calls but from different numbers. I’ve flagged it as dangerous because sadly, some folks might believe it.
