Bit strange really.9 yearsI received a call today from someone looking for Mr. Allan, which is my husband's first name. Right away, I felt a little wary. There was quite a bit of racket in the background, clearly from a call centre. I inquired about how they had obtained my number, which seemed to flummox the gentleman, who had an Asian accent. He then carried on with his rehearsed lines, asking if I was having any issues with my computer. I replied that everything was fine and made it clear he was trying to pull a fast one, asking him to refrain from calling again. To my surprise, he responded with, "So you'd like me to block your computer?" I found this quite intimidating and have decided to report the matter to the authorities.Allan9 yearsi got a call from what sounded like a call centre, loads of noise in the background. The guy asked if i was mr allan which is actually my hubby's name, so right away i thought this was dodgy. then he started asking about issues with my computer. i wanted to know where he got my number from and he seemed a bit lost for words. once he began going on about my computer again i called it out as a scam, and he replied with something like "so you want me to block your computer?" which felt like a bit of a threat. i'm definitely reporting this number to the police.Allan9 yearsGot a call from 01247537321 today at around 2.08pm. That’s why I’m calling about your windows on the computer!” When I cut him off and said I knew it was a scam, the call just dropped.
