Missed a call on my landline when I was out, no voicemail though. After reading other reviews, sounds like one of those boiler room cons where they pretend to be legit people just to trick you. If they're bothering folks who are vulnerable, definitely worth telling the police about it.

some lady called me sayin she was doin some kinda health questionnaire or survey thing.

I got a call from a woman speaking with a thick Indian accent, claiming she was from some company that stops nuisance calls. She asked if I'd had any recently, and I told her I was actually on a call right then. She started saying I was the nuisance and that I clearly didn’t understand the situation. When I tried to explain and mentioned she was about to end the call, she just cut me off and hung up on me.

Got a call before from someone saying my internet wasn’t working and that they had to turn it off. Asked them to connect me to my actual provider, they pretended to do so but just kept trying to scam me, saying I had to use a computer instead of my iPad to follow their steps. Today, they rang again but as soon as I picked up, I just said goodbye and hung up. I’ve reported it to my internet company and the usual authorities now.

some bloke called me, said he was from bt and that my internet was being accessed by others so he wanted to fix the settings on the phone to keep me safe. i said surely they should send a tech to sort it properly. he replied there were loads of people with the same problem so sending engineers wasn’t an option and he could guide me through it instead. i told him most people in the uk aren’t daft enough to fall for that kind of trick and i wasn’t interested. then he had the nerve to call me stupid for not letting him change my settings!
