Really sketchy stuff! I ended up telling the cops because this person keeps ringing up businesses, asking loads of questions about their security and the kind of internet setups they have for access. Seems pretty shady to me.

He wasn’t pushy at all and appeared to be asking legit questions, actually seemed quite worried about the issue. Honestly, I was pretty doubtful at the start since I've been burned before and don't really trust anyone these days... But then Mason emailed me quickly to verify who he was, and that helped calm my worries. He told me he was ringing from BT because he noticed our broadband hasn't been great for a while, but now there are some new upgrades available. So fingers crossed we finally get the fibre connection we’ve been hoping for ages. I said yes to having one of their installers come out and help sort the fibre setup, so hopefully, by next week all the broadband problems will be behind us.
