I've been getting calls from this number, and they even left a voicemail. When I went to listen to it, I could barely make out what was being said amid all the background racket. It sounded like a young woman was chatting with the bloke who called me, and she kept urging him to hang up. Quite bizarre, really!

This morning I got a call from someone asking if I was still using prepayment meters for gas and electricity. I told them yes, but mentioned it was my partner’s place and she handles all the bills. I’m really wondering how they managed to get hold of my name and number in the first place.

All i caught was a woman talking (couldn’t really understand her) to whoever called me, then she told the guy to just hang up.

They call nonstop at all times, i block the number and then they go and hide it so it’s a private caller which i gotta pick up cos my gp also does that. So annoying especially after telling them loads of times to stop ringing me.

They keep calling me over and over, but I’m not daft so I just don’t pick up when it’s a number I don’t recognise. It’s proper annoying. Once I did answer and they kept asking for some Mr Brown, but my phone’s actually on my mum’s name, not anyone called Brown. Honestly, just tell them to sod off. Or better yet, if you’ve got kids, get them to answer and say silly stuff like “poo” or “wee” and they’ll hang up straight away. It works every time!
