I received a peculiar phone call the other day from an individual purporting to be with esure, claiming that another party was lodging a claim against me. Given that only I was involved in the incident, I promptly countered with, "That can't be right! There were no other cars involved!" At that, the caller disconnected. Quite dodgy if you ask me! Best not to divulge any personal information.

Seems rather dodgy, doesn't it? They only seem to know a smidge about an old car accident of mine, and the moment I start probing with a few questions, they suddenly cut the line. Very suspicious indeed!

They rang me just to confirm my postcode and surname.
