The one time I picked up since I was in, the woman on the other end was really unpleasant when I explained I wasn't the person she wanted. I just hung up after that.

I got a couple calls from a company calling themselves go green. First time I said I’m already on the TPS list and they just dropped the call. Then they rang again today and hung up straightaway again. Honestly, what’s the point of bothering to call if you’re just gonna hang up?

Got a call from a local Chesterfield number, supposedly from a firm called Better Energy - think they’re in Nottingham. Didn’t really get into details about what they offer, probably solar panels or something. Told them we’re registered with the TPS and they just brushed it off, blaming the TPS for not updating their list properly. Honestly, told them to stop spouting nonsense because it’s against the law. If you get a call like this, make sure you report it to the TPS!

The people on the other end were really rude. I told them they had the wrong person and instead of saying anything, they just ended the call abruptly. Proper bad behaviour if you ask me.

Got a call from this number around midday. I picked up and had a chat with a bloke called Adam, who spoke with a thick local accent. He said he was involved with Renewable Energy stuff. When I told him we’re on the TPS and that I was going to hang up, he just said “Byeeee” before I ended the call - pretty weird. There was quite a bit of noise in the background, like other voices chatting, so I reckon it’s a call centre or something like that. I’m usually out at this time, so luckily I miss most of these pointless sales calls anyway.

I've been getting calls from this number that ring over and over but no ones ever there when I pick up. What's the point of this? Does anyone know how to stop these calls?

I was out of the room when my landline rang, so I missed the call. Later, I looked up the number and gave it a ring. What I got was some hurried voice message, followed by Chopin's Minute Waltz playing, then that same message again and again. I can’t figure if these clowns actually earn from people ringing them back. Maybe it’s safer to just ignore them, you never really know what’s going on!
