I received a call from someone who said he was Josh from the First Response team. He insisted he needed to talk about a car accident I supposedly had a couple of months back, which, by the way, wasn't my doing at all. The bloke went on about how I could possibly claim insurance money since I was a victim in this supposed incident. I quickly realised he was nothing more than a fraudster, so I firmly asked him not to ring me again. The irony? I don’t even own a car!

So, I rang the number, got put on hold for a bit, then when someone picked up they said they were from quote search and told me the call was being recorded.

I picked up 'cause the number looked local and I've been job hunting. The bloke on the line, sounded like he was from up north, asked straight away for me by name. When I asked who it was, he said Josh from First Response. Then he started going on about a car accident I'd supposedly had in the past couple of years. I told him I don’t even own a car (though I actually do), but before I could get my words out he’d already hung up. The number was blocked too. Strange call.

Just saw I missed a call from this number on my phone, but there was no voicemail or anything. I’m kinda wary of ringing back cos I’ve never seen it before - might be some robocaller checking if the number's live. Don’t really want to give them the satisfaction. Claimed they were ringing me back, yet I've never made contact with them. After that, they disconnected the line.
