Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT saying we had to move off our copper line since it was going to be phased out soon. Thing is, they didn't even realise we're not on Openreach's current upgrade list, so no rush on our copper line at all. To me, it felt like they were just a third party trying to push some kind of broadband or phone service, especially since the guy ended the call quickly once he learned we weren't in the upgrade schedule.

I was calling on behalf of a work mate, and when we told them she wasn’t around, they just ended the call! Proper rude if you ask me.

Got a call that seemed like it was from BT asking whether a company was still using ISDN lines at their office. Sounds legit but a bit odd.

Got a call supposedly from BT saying we had an inactive line on our account, which we knew wasn't right. I just thanked the person and hung up.

Someone said they were from BT and asked if we still had a landline at home. But there’s nothing online to show the number actually belongs to BT, so I’m pretty sure it’s a bit dodgy.
