It seems my car insurance company was on the case, ensuring everything was above board regarding a claim lodged against me. They were probing to see if I contest any liability or if the claim itself is dodgy. I was quite taken aback when I received a call, as it turned out there were numerous passengers looking to make a claim against MY insurer! It all got a bit muddled, especially since I went through a broker, but these folks are ultimately the ones who will settle the bill!
