This morning I got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, 01264 488932, from someone saying they were UKL. Then, later in the day, they rang again telling me to call 01246571484. It seemed a bit off to me - if it was a legit debt collector, they’d usually say who they are properly and ask for the person by name. Just saying “we are UKL” and giving you a number feels dodgy. I definitely wouldn’t trust it.

Last week they kept leaving me voicemail messages about some debt I supposedly owe, like every single day. They even included a reference number. Then they texted me telling me to call them back at 01246488927. When I called, the person said I didn’t owe anything and told me to take my number off their list. We’ll see what happens next.

If youre getting calls and messages from uksl, be careful - they’re a nightmare to sort with. I phoned them and they told me I owed money to Southern Water but I live in North Yorkshire. I checked with Southern Water and it wasnt me. Ive been getting these calls for over a year now. They really need to check their info before bothering people. Every day around 4.15pm, UKSL has been calling me nonstop since last May. It’s really wearing me down. The woman on the phone sounds so harsh and nasty. Ive blocked their number but somehow their calls still come through on my voicemail. I’m a 70 year old lady and truly don’t know what else to do. My son even tried calling them back but they refuse to say who they actually are.
