UKSL keep ringing my landline from Nov to Dec 2021, saying I need to ring them back urgently. I never pick up as it's always scams. UKSL is just another one, and they've left loads of messages on my answerphone. After reading the posts here, seems this is their usual trick. It’s proper harassment and against the law. The receptionist asked for a reference number, I said I didn’t have one, they called me! Then they asked my name, so I asked who they were and what UKSL is. The receptionist said they couldn’t tell me that. I asked what the urgent issue was, they said they can’t disclose that without my name. I gave a fake name, Mike Hunt. They said I owed money to some utility company. I called them out, said I gave a false name. Definitely a SCAM!

This company, UK Search Ltd, is a debt collection firm and they were really rude and pushing. They phoned me this morning asking for information but I just said no as I had no idea who they were. The bloke asked if I'd ever had infinity water, which I haven't. So I just went back to sleep. Later, I rang them back to see how they got my info. To my surprise, if you don’t have a reference number, they just refuse to talk to you because of data protection. But it’s my info surely??? It’s now 9.35 and some woman called Katie has kept me on hold for 45 minutes trying to find a manager!!!

I’m representing a client who has MLD, and this number keeps ringing me non-stop about him. Problem is, they refuse to say what the problem actually is. They’re calling me using my unlisted number, which they somehow got from a third party, but they won’t say who gave it to them. I’ve told them to take my number off their list, but I also warned them that if my client gets any letters or messages from them, he won’t be able to deal with it without me, so they’ll end up having to speak to me anyway.

A few days ago I got a voicemail saying to ring back about something important. I looked up the number and ended up here. I didn’t call back, but the next day I got a text telling me to click on a link and enter my name and postcode to read a letter. I was nearly going to do it, but decided to delete the message instead. Then today there was another voicemail but I’m sure I owe nothing, so I’m just going to keep ignoring it. If it was genuine, I’d expect a letter by post and for them to use my name properly. It all feels a bit dodgy to me.

Got loads of calls from some lot claiming to be UKSL, saying it’s urgent and I need to call back. They’ve rung me over and over - honestly feels pretty threatening.

Got a call with a voicemail saying it was UKSL and to call back about something urgent. Saw some other reviews saying they’re debt collectors - seems like a scam to me. If it was legit, surely they’d send a letter first!

I've been getting calls and emails from people saying they're from Southern Water, but they lied and then claimed they're debt collectors. I've always paid my bills and I'm completely sure my water bill is paid. It’s really annoying. When I last spoke to Southern Water, they confirmed I’m all paid up and even have credit.

UK Search Limited kept ringing about some supposed debt with Southern Water. I called Southern Water because my direct debit increased, and they told me UKSL also wanted money from me. But Southern Water already sorted and cancelled my debt with UKSL 7 months ago - December, to be exact! Southern Water even got in touch with them twice last week, yet UKSL still won’t stop hassling me.

Hey, I got a call from these lot too about my Southern Water bill, but I already pay it every month so I checked with Southern Water and turns out it's a scam. They called me again but I didn’t pick up, they left a voicemail telling me to call back urgently. I've reported it to the police and I’m gonna contact Fraud Alert as well. It really worries me that they might try this on elderly folks.

+447860092797 keeps texting me, the latest one came today at 16:24 saying: "This is UKSL regarding Southern Water, please ring 01246570500 and mention your reference." It's clearly a scam, unbelievable how many folks could fall for this.

I strongly advise against using their services. Instead, reach out directly to your water provider and converse with them, rather than dealing with these lot. Their primary goal seems to be extracting money from you, and they can be quite obnoxious in the process. My situation was with Southern Water; I had an outstanding payment that I couldn't fulfil because I hadn't received a bill to address it. After contacting the water company, they sent me a bill, which I’ve since settled. However, I'm still bombarded with texts from this agency. I can't be bothered with their nonsense, so I simply delete their messages. I'm sure the water supplier will update them eventually... As for me, I'm only dealing with my actual water provider and refusing to engage with these collectors. Be cautious, as once you verify your information with them, they might end up selling your details.

For the past couple of weeks, I've been getting about three calls a day from 01246 846996. They just say call back because of something urgent. Luckily, I use the BT block service (1572), so I've blocked the number completely. Still, I can log in, hear the messages they've left, then decide whether to delete or keep them.

I've been receiving identical emails from this company claiming I owe money on some PPI debt, which is totally not true. They're clearly scammers. I'd say avoid replying or calling them at all costs, and definitely report them if you can.

I've had the same thing happen to me more than once. I blocked the number, but somehow they still get through and leave voicemails you can't seem to block. It's so frustrating, I really wish there was a way to put an end to this constant bother.

Like many others, I’ve gone through something similar. I’m really keen on starting a campaign to push for new laws that would hold these folks accountable for their careless and rude actions. Is there anyone else who thinks the same?

I got a couple of voicemails on my answering machine from some place called UKSL, saying I should call them back about something urgent. If it really was important, surely they'd have used my name, right? I had a quick look on here and yep, looks dodgy to me. Not falling for that one.

Got a call from a debt collector claiming it was about Southern Water. Had dealt with them ages ago, and they dropped it once I explained the direct debit was arranged and then cancelled. Honestly, anyone at that company should really feel embarrassed for how they handle things.

Got calls from this number about three times every day. I looked up their contact on Google and gave them a ring. Turns out someone else has an account there and probably gave them my old landline number. I thought it was all fixed after a chat with a friendly woman in their admin team, but just ten minutes later the same number called me again! I stayed on the line, but then they just cut the call. So frustrating!

Out of curiosity, I looked up the number on Google and found this website. After reading what others said, there’s no way I’m picking up their calls. This number phoned me twice earlier today. The first time, they hung up right after I answered. On the second call, someone said it was from UKSL or something like that and that I needed to press 1 urgently to discuss my account. But I don’t have any account with them, nor do I owe anything, so I just ended the call. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now so hopefully they won’t ring again.

This number (02146570500) was trying to scam me asking for personal details, must be one of those PPI phishing calls. I've blocked it now and I'd recommend everyone else do that too. Cheers!

I haven’t received any calls from this number but they keep sending texts telling me to #urgent# ring them. I’m not falling for that. If I really owed them money, wouldn’t the company I owe be contacting me first directly? Seems dodgy to me.

I received an email from this lot telling me to call them back, but they didn’t say why. No chance I’d dial a number from some random email, so I looked them up here first. Turns out they’re a debt collection agency, and from what I’ve heard, the people working there can be pretty rude.
