Got calls from this person a couple of times every week, getting on my nerves. They also send threatening letters from different fake names, insisting I ring them back - of course, I’d be paying for the call - to chat with their so-called agents. They don’t say anything about any debts owed, but the letters include a form asking for all my bank details so they can just take money straight from my account. Pretty clear it’s a total scam. This is a classic energy con, but they switch up the names all the time. They keep insisting you call them back and even threaten to "send people around" to the house to collect money. They seem to have every contact info - landline, mobile, email. How on earth do they get all that? The actual energy firms have no clue who they are, no matter what alias they use. They claimed to be from UKMS recently, telling me to ring back right away, like it was some kind of emergency. The voice was surprisingly clear tho. Looks like they got hold of a genuine company’s contact list and are bombarding people with calls. If you do call them back, they profit and you get charged. There used to be a place near Hove Station a while ago that did millions of scam calls just like this. Thankfully it got shut down in the end.

Today, I received a call on my brand new mobile, but alas, I wasn’t available to take it. The number flashed up, and upon looking up the area code, it seems to originate from Chesterfield. To be honest, I'm not acquainted with anyone from that area, and very few people even have my new digits. They certainly don't shy away from reaching out through any contact details linked to your account with those providers. Personally, I've been dealing with Affinity Water, who insists that I still have an outstanding balance from when I relocated three years back. Their records appear to be stuck in the past, as they continue to assume I reside at my former address. What's quite baffling is that this collection agency is already aware of my current address!

Got a call on my phone about an hour back, but it showed up as a "potential spam number" so I just ignored it. They left a voicemail saying I needed to call back urgently but never said who they were or what it was about. I’ve blocked the number and reported it.

I'm pretty sure this is a scam. They keep calling me non stop even after I've blocked the number several times. Honestly, the best thing to do is just to not answer.

Got a message from UKSL saying I owe money to Southern Water, but I pay them every month and don’t owe a penny. Now UKSL keeps texting saying it’s urgent and my credit score could be hit. I phoned UKSL and they told me the account number in their texts doesn’t match anything on their system, so they couldn’t sort it out. Honestly, I’m lost with all this.

I received a phone call from this number, where they prompted me to either press 1 or give them a ring back. I'm quite baffled as to who they might be or what their intentions are. Personally, I wouldn't recommend returning the call, as it all feels rather dubious to me.

Complete rip off, dont trust any reviews claiming it’s genuine, those are just fake profiles made by the firm. They’re really rude on calls. Just hang up and block them straight away. Imagine if the poor staff earning minimum wage had to deal with that (they probably wouldn’t!). Be firm and don’t be afraid to stand up to them. If I manage to get any manager contacts, I’ll be sharing them here.
