The final time, I tried a mate’s idea on the guy with the heavy accent. I went, "Peter, is that you? You’ve never been good at accents, that fake Indian one is rubbish." He said something I couldn’t catch, so I just replied, "Cut the crap Peter, I know it’s you and that accent's dreadful. Speak like yourself and I'll chat." They hung up and haven’t called back since.

Just got a call from 01246275684, some Asian bloke with a right thick accent claiming to be from Accident Claim advice. He was all like, 'How are you today?' I said, 'Fine until you rang' (obviously a dodgy call). Then he went on saying I'd been in an accident and had to tell him all about it. I told him, 'If you’ve got the info, then you tell me.’ Next thing he’s threatening, saying 'Tell me now or I’ll mess you up proper.' Then I just heard the line go dead and I hung up straight away.

This persistent caller has been ringing me up for weeks on end. I had a bit of a laugh with an Asian chap on the other end - when I asked him if he had any goats for sale, he wasn't having any of it! So, I cheekily inquired about his mother, which he didn't seem keen to discuss either. Eventually, I asked if his sister was free for a chat. Realising it was fruitless, I took the precaution of tightening the grip on my landline settings and gave him the permanent boot. He can generate a new number all he likes, but I’ll have him blocked in no time. Sorry, Aamir! Looks like you'll need to stick to your goats, mate. Classic PPI/ insurance scammer, and quite the nuisance, to boot!

Got a call from an Asian bloke on our work line, had to ask him to say it a few times cause I wasn’t catchin him. After listenin close, he was sayin something like, ‘Hello Madam, can I come and f##k you? I want to come and f##k you’. I just hung up straight away and haven’t had any calls since. Now I'm lookin into how to block him on the office phones.

I keep getting calls from them about some accident I supposedly had. Thing is, the only accident I can remember happened way back in the late 70s over in West Germany. They really won’t give up!

Why is it that we never seem to get a break? It’s because folks stuck in tough spots will try any trick to take what you’ve earned. Ever wonder why these scammers don’t get caught? They’re hard to track down since they use free VoIP calls over the internet, plus they operate outside your country so the law can’t touch em. If you want peace, invest in call screening gear. Landline phones with blockers aren’t pricey these days, pretty much the same cost as wireless ones.

Got a call from a bloke with a strong accent claiming to be from "UK Accident Services" about an insurance claim. When I asked, he said he was calling from Manchester. I told him I was on the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) list and asked where he found my number. He claimed it was from my insurer, Liverpool Victoria, saying they informed him about an accident I supposedly had in the last two years. Neither of those things are true. I've reported it to the TPS and would recommend anyone else who gets similar calls do the same.

Yeah, this number has called me 4 times today. The first three times, they just hung up. On the last call, a bloke with a strong Asian accent spoke about some car crash. Told him I don’t own a car and tried to apologise but couldn’t really follow what he was saying. I really need to sort out blocking these annoying calls. I told him I got knocked on the motorway, then he tried claiming the other driver’s insurance had given him my number and that I could claim £3,000. Seems like this is just another one of those nuisance calls, and from what's been said here, it’s probably the same lot. I didn’t bother calling back since it cut off. Fingers crossed it stops soon, but like others have mentioned, we’re on the TPS list, so it really shouldn’t be happening.

Got three calls from this guy with an Asian accent claiming to be from some accident help service, asking for details about an accident supposedly involving me. I told him twice I haven’t had any accidents at all. But on the third call, I played along and said thanks for calling because actually, I did have an accident. When he asked for the where and when, I told him about this crazy thing that happened - I crashed while I was with a girl from the pub on the hood of my car right behind Lucky Fortune Chinese takeaway. I added that she went to the doctor the next day for the morning after pill but I haven't heard from her since. Then I asked if I could make a claim, and all he said was a rude swear word and just hung up. Haven’t gotten any calls from that number after that!

Like a bunch of others, I got two calls within a few hours. I asked about my accident, but they just stopped after that. Not sure what the scam was really about or what they wanted cause it didn’t get any further.

Got a call sometime between 3 and 5 in the arvo but no message on my voicemail. Looked up the number on Google and ended up on this page. I've decided to block it now.

some guy with an asian accent was asking loads of questions about some accident but when I didn’t give my details, he started saying I was wasting his time and even said he’d f#ck my mum. Honestly, I wish I knew where his office was so I could tell him to say that to my face.

Just like others have said, they rang me up claiming my insurance had passed them my number about a car crash I never had. When I pressed them for the name of the insurance company that supposedly gave them my details, they abruptly ended the call. Another user mentioned this too - quite disappointing because I was actually thinking of messing with them a bit and wasting their time with nonsense. Guess not!

They rang me today, trying to say I’d been in some sort of accident. I played along for a bit saying I had, then asked which insurance firm had handed over my info and my name. They just couldn’t answer and ended up hanging up. Shame really, I was ready to mess about and feed them fake info for ages.

Got a call from this number, there was loads of noise in the background and it sounded like it was from abroad. I ended up just hanging up before saying anything.

Got a call from an Asian guy asking for my name, which I refused to give. Then he wanted to know my age, again, I kept quiet. After that, he said some really inappropriate stuff, like wanting to f##k me! I told him the call was being recorded and I’d report him to the Police. He just said he didn’t care and then hung up! Does anyone know what I should do next?

01246 275684 called me a while ago, said his name was Harry and claimed I’d been in an accident? When I asked him what my name was, he couldn’t tell me and then just ended the call. Totally suspicious, so I’ve blocked the number.

CAUTION: Had a rather unpleasant call today, 1st July 2016. When I inquired if they needed assistance, they told me in no uncertain terms to tell my mother to bugger off! I will definitely be looking into how to report this number.
