I called the number back just after, and lo and behold, I was greeted with an automated voice saying the number I’d dialled wasn’t valid. This struck me as rather peculiar, considering I had just gotten a call from it. Seems like it might be a bit dodgy!

Oh, not again! Just got a call from this number - an Indian chap on the line insisted he was from tech support. He went on about viruses and dodgy downloads that I supposedly hadn’t authorised. He wanted me to plonk myself in front of my computer, but I informed him I was quite tech-savvy and recognised this as yet another scam. When I asked for the name of the company he was representing, he couldn’t provide any details and promptly hung up.

Received a call from a gentleman with an Indian accent who claimed to be from the technical department of a company with a rather unclear name, mentioning something about my computer. It had all the hallmarks of a scam, as I've encountered similar situations previously. I just told him to cease calling me.

I received a call from this number today at 2:49 in the afternoon. It was an individual with a foreign accent, possibly Indian, who was quite difficult to follow as he rambled on about some supposed viruses on my machine. He then had the audacity to ask me to sit in front of my computer. I told him straight that I was well aware of these sorts of calls, having encountered them before, and expressed my frustration about all these despicable individuals attempting to exploit vulnerable and elderly victims in our society. I made it clear that I would be reporting his antics to the police. It didn’t take long for him to hang up once he realised he wouldn’t be able to deceive me.
