Got a call from someone claiming to be BT’s tech support (they sounded like they were in an open office, with a Asian accent) saying my IP address was leaked and misused. I was pretty skeptical and ended the call. Then, almost straight away, they rang back from another number 01243 834397. I played along for a bit and got passed onto their supposed "manager". After a while, I told them I wouldn’t deal with unsolicited calls and would ring BT myself. When I contacted BT, they confirmed no one from their team had called me. Both numbers have now been blocked by them.
