I’ve had a rather peculiar experience with the number 01246969452. It seems to ring my phone, only to leave an automated message in a somewhat robotic female voice. The message claims that a payment was processed on my card to an overseas destination a mere 15 minutes prior. It urges me to press 1 if I wish to halt or confirm this transaction. Curiously, when I attempted to call back, I found that the Chesterfield area code was unfamiliar and didn’t seem to lead anywhere. Quite suspicious, wouldn't you agree?

Today, I received a rather alarming call from this number. A pre-recorded voice informed me that there was a dubious £600 transaction being processed overseas on my debit card. It instructed me to hit 1 if I wanted to approve the transaction or 2 to cancel it. Honestly, it was clearly a scam, as I don't even have that amount in my account right now!
