My elderly mum got a call from this number claiming to be her bank, saying there was some suspicious activity on her card. Thing is, she doesn’t even have a debit or credit card, so it was obviously rubbish. Still, it freaked her out a bit, but thankfully she just hung up straight away. Tried calling the number back but it’s not recognised, and it’s definitely not from any of the banks she actually uses.
