Got a call from 01246 170783, someone saying they were from Amazon Prime. They told my wife I needed to pay over £39 to continue my Prime membership. She said (honestly) I wasn’t around at the moment, and they asked me to ring back and hit #1. They claimed they already had my card details and would take the payment that way. Since it’s illegal for companies to keep your card info, I didn’t bother calling them back. Looks like the number is from Chesterfield, but I don’t think Amazon is located there. Could this be a scam?
