We keep getting calls from a number claiming to be BT about our internet service but it’s not showing up properly on our phone. Seems like some kind of repeat phone scam related to TalkTalk. Very annoying.

some guy rang me claiming to be from bt openreach saying there was an issue with my phone line. i never said anything about a fault and everything seems fine on my end. he wanted me to let him link a bt server to my laptop so he could do some tests. i told him that sounded risky and asked for his phone number so i could call him later. he said he got why i was worried but insisted it was the only way to find the problem.
