7 yearsBlimey! I received a rather curious call from some chaps claiming that I’d been involved in an accident and sustained an injury. Just brilliant, isn't it? Do they reckon I’ve slipped into some sort of alternate reality where I’m completely oblivious to my own life? Who can say! Given that my number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service, I really shouldn’t be getting these types of calls. I’ve reported them, but apparently, the Telephone Preference Service can't trace the number and are utterly powerless to act. It’s baffling, considering we’re supposed to be in the 21st century. What a useless setup. If the caller had threatened me with violence and I had the evidence recorded, I bet they’d manage to track them down posthaste. At the end of the day, whoever is behind this operation seems to think that deceiving potential customers is a clever way to conduct business.
