Upon picking up the phone, I was greeted by a pre-recorded message claiming to be from HMRC, warning me about some fraudulent activity. It urged me to press 1 to connect with a representative. If I didn’t comply, I was told I'd face arrest within the next few minutes or hours. Quite the alarming tactic, if you ask me!

Got a call from this number and when I picked up, some automated voice said it was HMRC warning me about fraud. It told me to press 1 to talk to an agent right away or else I’d be arrested soon. Sounds like a total scam to me.
