I told him it wasn’t me and just ended the call. But then he called right back at 20.53, going on about money being taken from my bank card. He even read out a bank card number and asked me to confirm it. I refused, it was wrong anyway. He then said the money would be taken anyway, speaking quite aggressively. I’ve had calls like this before. As I hung up, he kept repeating that they’d take the cash. Felt really pushy and threatening, and I reckon it could easily fool someone into handing over their info.5 yearsSomebody called me saying I had some kind of drainage insurance, sounded like a total scam to me.5 yearsSome bloke called up claiming we owed money for water bills, said if we didn’t pay there’d be £59 interest added.
