So a company calling as Eon Energy tried to fix my electric bill situation. Told them I’m with CEC (Commercial Electric Company) instead. Turns out these lot are actually based in Pakistan but pretending to be from Manchester or something. They couldn’t even verify their own address properly. When I’m in a good mood, I give them a bunch of random names and numbers just to mess with them a bit, makes it fun. If you get calls like this and feel like chatting, just go for it - but make sure you note down everything you say so you don’t end up sounding daft.

The bloke was so impolite. When I requested to chat with the manager, he just told me to look it up on Google.

01245968326 called me earlier, sounded like one of those usual scam calls. The person spoke with an Indian accent and opened with "Good day sir, hovi you?” I just didn’t even bother replying and hung up straight away! I’m registered with TPS, yet I still get around 5 of these every week.
