Got a call from this number but didn’t pick up. Looked it up here and decided to block it.

Got a call from this number earlier today, but I just ended it straight away cos it seemed like one of those scam calls.

This number keeps ringing me but when I answer, they just hang up straight away. It's really frustrating, especially since I'm trying to heal from knee surgery.

He just said his name and I ended the call straight away.

I didn't answer because I didn't know the number, but I looked it up here afterwards and I'm really glad I did.

Woke up to a call at 7 in the bloody morning, which is just not on. Didn’t even answer it. This is the third time in two days they’ve tried. Proper annoying.

I just got a call from this number again, less than a day after the first one.

Got a call from 01245953888 claiming it was about checking my solar panel warranty. Sounded dodgy to me. It’s from Chelmsford apparently. Be careful - other folks have posted warnings about this number too! Avoid it if you can.

Got a spam call about some solar warranty even though my number’s on the TPS register. Tried ringing the number back but it just won’t pick up any incoming calls. Proper annoying!

We got a call from someone named "Paul" at Infinity Solar Scammers who said they could sort a warranty for our solar panels even though the original company went under. When I asked them to stop phoning us about solar panels we never bought, he just hung up on me.

Didn't pick up 'cause I dunno the number, but I had a quick look on here and glad I gave it a miss.

I received a rather curious phone call earlier. The caller claimed that my solar panels were still under a 25-year warranty and that the original installation team had outsourced them to verify their functionality. They were keen to arrange a call for today, but I told them it would have to wait until Monday at the soonest. They agreed to follow up then. I can’t shake the feeling that this might be a scam; after all, why would the company that installed them need third parties to check up on their own work? I’ve decided to play along when they ring back next week-it could buy some time and deter them from attempting to deceive anyone else in the meantime.

They rang me but ended the call as soon as it went to voicemail, didn't say anything.

Got a text from this number and my phone instantly marked it as spam!

Got a call about solar panels and told them nicely I wasn’t interested. They asked me why, saying then they could remove me from their list. I said I wasn’t obliged to explain, and then their tone switched. They said I had to stay on the list and then just hung up on me.

Got a call about a warranty check for my solar panels, and they were asking when an engineer could drop by for an inspection. Told them straight up I’m not sharing that kind of info with someone I don’t know. Hung up pretty quickly. I’ve had countless calls like this before and honestly, it gets really frustrating.

Caught another spam call, got blocked straight away.

Received a call claiming our solar panels remained within their warranty period, and they were eager to arrange a visit for an inspection. Total scam! Definitely blocking that number!

Got another one of those dodgy scam calls today.

I answered the call, but they just cut off right away. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Claimed they were calling in reference to my solar energy system.

Total junk call!

They called me twice. I let it go to voicemail the first time, but they didn’t leave any message. When I picked up the second time, they just hung up on me. Proper rude behaviour.

I’m on the TPS list. Got a random call from someone named Charlie, sounded like it was from a call centre, saying they were from IES - Integrated Energy Services.

Got a call from a number I didn't have saved, no voicemail left. Just felt like someone messing about.

They rang me yet again, this time a bloke with the exact same story. I’ve told them plenty of times to stop calling, but they just won’t listen.

Got a call from a woman insisting she was from "infinite energy solutions" saying because I supposedly have solar panels, they were allowed to ring me up. That’s not right at all, and I’m definitely on the TPS. She was really persistent and didn’t want to take no for an answer. After seeing what others have said here, it seems like they make up all sorts of stories. I wouldn’t risk dealing with them.

Got a call earlier today, 24/04/17, at about 5:27 pm. There was a bunch of noise in the background and then they just ended the call.

Yesterday morning, I got a call on my landline from this number. The caller didn’t clearly say which company they were from, but mentioned they operated out of Colchester. They already knew my name and that I have solar panels installed at home. They then claimed there was some urgent info: my “supplier had recently gone into administration.” I was pretty wary by then and ended up hanging up on them. Looking back, it really feels like a dodgy cold call, probably just a clumsy attempt to catch my interest for who knows what reason.

This number's rang me about four times since January. I've blocked it already, but looks like it don't care about being ignored.

I received a call from a company named IES, and when I inquired about what that acronym stood for, the representative, Gracie, informed me it meant 'Infinite Energy Solutions.' She mentioned my solar panel system was due for an inspection under the manufacturer's warranty, which apparently covers this sort of service - news to me! I asked her for a callback number to consider my options and she provided 01206 679955, which did match the contact number on their website (although I can't seem to locate that website now, and this was just a week ago!). Anyway, I rang the number and arranged for them to get back to me, with the promise of a call a day prior to let me know which engineer would be coming out. I did mention that I couldn't promise my wife would be there to 'authorise' anything, as I suspect that's often just a ploy for a sales pitch. To my astonishment, there was neither a phone call nor a sight of an engineer! I decided to share a warning on Nextdoor, and someone responded saying they'd received the same cold call. They requested written details via email and haven't heard back since. This really seems to be some sort of scam; it’s unfortunate I couldn't get to the bottom of it. Additionally, I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and when I sent in a complaint about the call, they responded that they couldn’t trace the company, suggesting it might well be non-existent!

I picked up but heard nothing, just silence. Tried ringing them back and got a message saying the number wasn't taking any calls. Decided to block it after that.

Just a quick update from my previous post. I looked up Infinite Energy Solutions and found a contact number: 01206 679955. When I called, a very polite lady answered and confirmed that 01245 938888 is indeed their call centre number. I told her about the annoying calls I’d been getting, mentioning that I don’t even have any solar panels. She apologised and promised to take my number off their list. We’ll see if they stick to that or not.

Got a call even though I’m signed up with TPS, and they totally lied saying the business that fitted our solar panels has shut down. Absolutely rubbish.

Got a call about a solar panel safety inspection the other day, and I’m pretty sure it was a scam. The person claimed the firm that did my panels had closed down, and that they’d taken over all their customers. But when I asked which company I had originally used, they couldn’t give me a name. Definitely suspicious.

Got a call yesterday but I didn't pick up, and she left no voicemail. Then she rang again today, tried the same old solar panel scam. I told her our panels were fine and we could check them on our own, then asked her nicely to stop bothering us. She just ended the call after that.

I usually just ignore calls from unknown numbers. But when I’m curious, I look them up on this site, and it’s been really handy.

I've received numerous calls from this number, and it feels like I'm being interrupted by a bustling call centre. Most of the time, it seems like they're engrossed in their own chatter, and the moment I try to contribute to the conversation, they hang up on me. I've decided to lodge a complaint with the Telephone Preference Service since they really ought not to be making unsolicited calls.

This lot kept ringing me on 7th Nov 2023 around 4.15pm, then twice more just yesterday. No matter how many times I tell them to stop calling, they just don’t take the hint. They’re some dodgy company trying to mess about with your solar panels. Honestly, I wouldn’t trust them at all - feels like a scam and they’re pretty sketchy. They’ll just keep pestering you nonstop. Seriously, don’t let these folk near your solar setup.

I got a call at 1:43pm on 6th November 2023. The person knew my name and asked if I was the one they were trying to reach. When I said yes, they just ended the call straight away. I've received several calls about getting my solar panels checked, but honestly, I'd never trust some random caller or cowboy to touch them. From what I’ve seen, they’re probably more likely to cause problems and then charge you for fixing things that weren’t broken before.

I wasn’t sure who it was so I just let it ring. After seeing these comments, I’m relieved I ignored it!

Received a call regarding solar panels from a rather boisterous call centre. They seemed to have my name and postcode on file, which was a bit disconcerting. I opted not to engage in conversation and swiftly blocked the number.

For over a week, I kept getting calls and ignored them, but I accidentally answered one. Turns out they’re trying to scam you about some free maintenance for your solar panels. Don’t fall for it like I did, they’re just a pain and want to take your cash!

I thought I heard the distant wails of a child over the din of background noise, and then, out of the blue, the line went dead. I've since added them to my blocked list, though I wouldn’t be surprised if they give me a ring from a different number soon-it's typical behaviour for these sorts of callers.

If you're fortunate, it might just turn out to be one of their numerous unresponsive calls.

Got a call from Infinite Energy Solutions, they wanted to arrange for an engineer to come inspect my solar panels. They booked me in for today, but also asked if I was living alone. I had a quick browse of their website and it seemed legit enough. So I decided to dig a bit deeper and checked Companies House. Turns out, this company actually dissolved back in 2014 and isn’t trading anymore. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

This number has called me several times, claiming I need to schedule an inspection for my solar panels. Each time I asked them to provide the specific government rules they’re working from, they just dodged the questions and ended the call. Feels like a complete con to me. Definitely recommend blocking them.

Thought it was a spam call so I didn’t pick up and ended up blocking the number.
