A chap rang my mother-in-law claiming to be gathering payment for a service she signed up for last year, which was meant to eliminate scam calls. Apparently, the first year was complimentary, and they were after the final payment. Curiously, she qualified for a reduced rate and he requested the last three digits of her card number to verify if it was still active. I couldn’t resist eavesdropping, and when things got a bit suspicious, I jumped into the conversation. I requested that he email the contract for verification, and just like that, he cut the line!

I've been receiving calls from this number repeatedly, and they’re totally uninvited. I chose not to answer, so I can't provide any specifics, but it’s really starting to get on my nerves!
