As soon as I picked up, they just hung up straight away.

My mother-in-law got a call from a bloke claiming they were chasing payment for a contract she supposedly signed last year to stop scam calls. He said the first year was free but now they were after the final payment. He told her she qualified for a discounted rate and asked her to verify the last three digits on her card to check if it was active. I was listening in, and when I took the phone off her to ask him to email the actual contract and asked some awkward questions, he just ended the call straightaway!

Kept ringing even tho I never answered. Didn’t get to find out who it was, but it was pretty irritating.
