I received a rather unexpected call from a company asserting that I had signed up for an electrical appliance insurance plan, offering the first two years complimentary. However, they began to insist that it was time for payment for the following two years. I confidently informed them that I had no such policy in place. To my astonishment, they insisted on debiting a card they claimed to have on file. When I warned them that I would raise the matter with my bank if they proceeded, the line went dead. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I've noticed that this particular number has a habit of altering the final digit. It's gone through 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and even 9! Oddly enough, they never seem to leave a voicemail. I've taken the step to block each variation as they come in.
