They started off by asking if they were talking to Mr? Then they wanted me to verify the address they mentioned. After that, they began probing for my credit card info - all the numbers and such. That’s when I told them I wasn’t sharing any details and just hung up.

But if it does reach the message, I listen to check if it’s someone I actually want to chat with, and if not, I just end the call. Got a call from some robotic voice, sounded Asian but hard to catch what they were saying. They said they were from something like "renewable energy savers" and wanted to talk to my missus about switching our energy provider. She’s not into that stuff, so I just ended the call. Tried calling the number back but it didn’t show up on my phone. Decided to block it now.

Like some folks here, I got a call from someone saying they were with 'Renewable Energy Savers'. They asked how old I am, how many people live here, and if I'd already had an energy performance certificate done. Then they said a senior person would ring me back if I qualified for any assistance. The number was a UK one, but the caller sounded like they were outside the country, mispronouncing Slough as 'sloff' and later 'sluff'. Needless to say, I’ve blocked the number.

Somebody rang me saying they were from the Renewable Savers Centre, wanting to check if I could get govt help with green energy. They asked a few things, like my age, number of people living at my place and if we’d had an Energy Performance Certificate done. Sounded fishy so I just blocked the number - felt like just another scammy call to me.
