I picked up and the call just got cut off straight away, probably one of those pesky spam calls.

I dumbly picked up the phone since the number showed a Chelmsford area code and wasn’t hidden. The person said they were from some firm called ‘Fresh Contacts’ and started off by using my first name, which seemed a bit rude to me. When I asked what the call was concerning, he claimed it was about a road incident I supposedly reported. I told him I had no idea what he meant, and he said sorry and promised to take my details off their list. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I got a call from a firm named Fresh Contacts, seems they’re officially registered with Companies House. When I phoned them back to find out who it was, a guy with a Liverpool accent asked if I’d had any accidents in the past three years. I told him I hadn’t, and then he just hung up on me. I reckon I’ll be getting more calls from these lot soon enough.
