Some bloke with a scouse accent rang up asking for my husband by his name. When I asked what the call was regarding, he repeated a line that a woman used just yesterday when she called asking for me, saying 'You or someone at your place has been in a car crash.' I told him no. Then he claimed 'Someone at your address had an accident within the last 3 years.' I denied that again. He then accused me of shouting at him, but I told him my number's on the Telephone Preference Service and he shouldn't be ringing me. His reply was 'Someone requested this call.' I told him that’s rubbish! He got all shouty and complained that I’d wasted his time, even though he was the one who called me - I just put the phone down. Number was 01245901384.

I just got off the phone with someone from this number who was incredibly pushy and rude. When I told them to take me off their call list, they got all defensive straight away. If you happen to ring them back, you'll just end up hearing their voicemail message, which drones on about how "the office is currently closed. Kindly reach out again from Monday to Friday, between 10 am and 6.30 pm." Their hours are rather peculiar, aren't they?
