I got a call from someone with a foreign accent who said they were with BT and needed to verify the password on my router. They also wanted other account details. I acted confused and said I didn’t know what a router was, then they just ended the call.

some guy with an accent called sayin there was issues with our internet, said folks in manchester and leeds were on it! like am i the only one here using the internet? noticed it’s been lagging or what! i just hung up but they rang back like 3 more times, this mess gotta be fixed!

Some guy with a foreign accent phoned me saying my internet with BT was down. Thing is, I've never even had internet with BT. Lately, loads of these calls seem to come from UK area codes, and this one showed up as Chelmsford. Feels like maybe they’ve hacked the number or something? I’ve got one of those CPR call blockers, and with these calls, I just press the big red button to block them forever. Honestly, it’s quite a relief to shut them down so they cant ring me back or give any hassle, which seems to happen if you try to dump them otherwise.

Got a call this morning at about 8.50 from a bloke with a foreign accent. Said he was ringing from BT, claiming there was an issue with my internet. I get these annoying calls pretty much daily. It’s baffling why they can’t be tracked down and put an end to. Feels like the elderly are the ones left most at risk of getting conned.

Been getting these dead silent calls every couple of days from different UK numbers, so the international call blocker doesn’t seem to catch them. When someone finally answers, they speak broken English, clearly reading off a script, and pretend to be calling from BT to sort out my internet. Total scam if you ask me.

some bloke calling me in a foreign language, claimed to be from bt, but we ain’t even with bt, warning about hackers on the internet. total scam, don’t trust these dodgy people.
