Then he asked, "When would be a good time to chat about cutting printing costs?" which I took as "When can we bother you again?" I said I wasn’t sure. He seemed to take the hint... at least until the next ring. I told him we weren’t looking to change our printer or the maintenance deal. That’s when Ali got a bit rude, saying he’d spoken to a Director - but he called her by her old surname from years ago! I explained that any decisions like that would come from the Board. He asked how I’d know if a change was agreed, and I said I’d be the one contacting the companies anyway. Ali kept trying to get through to someone else, but I made it clear we weren’t interested and that his number would be blocked.
