ringd me but didnt say anything then just ended the call abruptly

I got a call from 01245922048 but there was a weird pause when I picked up so I just ended the call. Could hear some odd noises in the background that made me think it was probably a scam or another annoying telemarketer.

the number was unfamiliar so i let it ring to the voicemail, but it just hung up straight away. funny to see im not the only one who thought it was best not to pick up!

As soon as I answered with a simple hello and mentioned the name of our company, the caller just ended the call straight away.

Somebody rang me saying they were doing a survey about energy companies. Asked me loads of stuff like who supplies our power, how much we pay, if gas or electric bills are bigger, whether our windows are double glazed and if we’ve got loft insulation. They even used my first name when they called. I basically didn’t have answers for most of it so I told them I didn’t know, then asked them to ring back later but ended up just blocking the number.

I hit the red decline button first, then went ahead and blocked the number. Sounds like a scam to me. They're getting trickier these days. Using a red and green circle really makes it look like it’s a legit company calling. I got caught once, but now I just shut it down before it even rings properly.

The call came from someone claiming to be with an energy company and they already had my name and address. I didn’t feel right about it, so I just ended the call!

They never even tried talking to me so I just kept quiet. Ended up hanging up and blocked the number straight away.
