I wasn't home when they rang, but my answerphone picked up the tail end of their message telling me to give them a ring back. Something felt off, so I just ignored it and blocked the number straight away. Pretty sure it's one of those dodgy scams.

Got a call from an unknown number but they didnt leave any message. If it was really important they would have said something.

There was a brief silence before a bloke with a foreign accent said he was calling for a company that works with the council. He said something about fixing repairs I’d supposedly reported. I asked what repairs exactly, and he mentioned “mould and damp problems” and said they planned to visit within a fortnight. I told him I never reported any such thing, and then he just ended the call!
