Someone rang me up claiming that I had agreed to TV repair cover a couple of years back, on a contract that lasts five years. They said the first two years didn’t cost me anything, but now I had to pay for the rest, which was £360. I asked for any documents or paperwork to prove this, but they just dodged my question. After that, they kept calling and pestering me for the money. At one point, one of them actually shouted at me to “shut up”. My partner and I are both in our late seventies and these kinds of calls really upset us.
