Got a call from someone claiming they were with home security, but I’m pretty sure it was a scam.

Claiming to be from the bank and wanting to discuss payments on the account.

Got a call from someone saying they were from “home care”, kept asking what it was about and eventually they admitted it was some TV insurance my late mum supposedly signed up for a couple years back. Then they said if I wanted to cancel it, it’d be at least £89. I ended the call, tried ringing back but they didn’t pick up.

Got a call about insuring my tv, they kept insisting I already signed up and even said I earned a 50% discount on my upcoming payment. They were really pushy about it.

Had some ladies ringing up about TV insurance, and honestly, they were really pushy with it.

Got a call from some random number even though I've signed up for the TPS. Didn't leave any voicemail or anything.

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise, this lady with an asian accent asked for me using my partner's last name and a Mrs title. Thing is, I've never told anyone that name for myself. Didn’t say a word back and just ended the call. Felt really fishy to me.

They were saying they were from some home help service about insuring her television. The woman they called was quite old and they just kept pushing and arguing with her nonstop. Really annoying.

Got a call from an Asian woman saying she was from some home care service and that since I hadn't claimed on my insurance, I should get half my money back. She wanted me to verify my card info, using the last 4 digits - which were from an old card of mine. I told her I had company and asked if she could ring back the next day. Usually, I’d just block such numbers immediately, but this time I’m thinking about letting her call again just to mess with her a bit before hanging up.

Today I got a call from a woman with a really thick foreign accent, talking about some insurance on my TV from 2023. I kept telling her I don’t have any cover like that, but she was really pushy and quite rude. After a while, I told her to stop calling and take my number off their database. No more than a few seconds after I hung up, the same number popped up again on my phone. I don’t need TV insurance at all, so this whole thing was pretty upsetting. I’ve blocked the number now, but I reckon they’ll give it another go.

Got a call around 2:17pm from a number I didn’t know. I let it go to voicemail but all I heard was what seemed like background noise from a call centre. No message was left. After seeing what others had said about this number, I decided to block it.

Got a call from someone pretending to be my 81-year-old mum’s bank, asking about a payment. Totally sounds like a scam to me!!!
