Someone phoned my missus saying our washing machine warranty was ending today. They pushed a “special” price, £180 instead of £360 for three years. They kept pushing her to give card info quickly, saying the deal was only good for today. My wife said she’d fetch the warranty docs to double check and the caller just dropped the call. It felt really threatening and pretty pushy, like they wouldn’t take no for an answer. Never come across this one before, but I bet some folks would get caught out by it. Definitely a scam.
