Got a call today claiming to be from the Home Care Scheme, saying we had to pay £360 right away or the "discount" would disappear. They asked for card info over the phone, which felt super dodgy. They said they'd only send the paperwork after payment, which made it seem even more sketchy. Plus, they used my full name, so they must have got it from some official gov or NHS list, cause usually they just call with a shorter version. Definitely a scam in my opinion.

The caller actually used my name and claimed to be from the UK Protection Scheme. But the moment I questioned what exactly they were protecting, they just ended the call right away.

I asked who's calling before I gave any info, but as soon as I asked, they just ended the call. Then they wanted to know the old owner's name.
